I'll take a GUESS at approx. 75.79% less at the breech with a volume in the area of 2,057 at the breech by your figures.
That is not allowing for ambient temp..
Just a guess............ROOKIE

Combustion gas volume
#2 oil, flame retention burner, 12% CO2, 400 degree net stack temp at the breech. Implies about 30% excess combustion air and combustion chamber temp of 1,900 degrees, with hot combution gas volume of 8,500 cu ft per gallon of fuel burned. Because the measured breech temp is 460 degrees, some 1,440 degrees of cooling occurs across the heat exchanger. Question: What is the much cooler and thus much lesser volume of combustion gas at the breech?0
