Hey anyone have nozzles changing colors?

Has anyone had a porblem with the screens on there nozzles change from that gold color to a blueish or redish color. Over the last few months seems like im getting these nozzles out of my box looking like that? Its not just delv its hago's to. weard?

Sounds like tarnished brass to me. Just a thought. Maybe Old nozzles?

Could also be,
A heavy hand with the dye that is being used. We saw this alot when the Feds. changed the tax/color code requirements.
The dye maker said that it wasn't a problem but we experienced quite a few just as described. One other thing. Does the fuel company put any additives in their own trucks? These are also succeptable to being poured heavy. The concentration per number of gallons is VERY specific and should be followed to the tee. Chris0
