I installed
an Aquastar 240 about a year and a half ago and it works great. I have not done any btu checks but it gives us all the hot water we want.
Our system is a little different than others though, as I have it in series with a 50 gallon gas fired tank. We use them to heat our swimming pool in the summer, through a heat exchanger.

I've got a TK-2D Takagi. Put it in about a year ago and like how it works. Gives plenty of hot water. I don't think tankless gives the energy savings they claim though.
I've also put one in at a nail salon where they are always filling pedicure tubs. Works great.0 -
I've got a Rinnai
what I prefer about the Rinnai is that it is sealed combusition, which is very important in my book. I did reduce my bill by 60%. I think where people do not get big savings is that they know they have virtually unlimited (timewise) hot water and therefore don't rush while in the shower.0
