From Newsday....
A Lindenhurst man was arrested and charged today after a shooting occurred in his home.
Suffolk police said they arrested Piotr Zybert, 37, of 680 North Jefferson Ave., early this morning after gun shots were fired after a discussion about construction techniques turned into an argument.
During the argument, Zybert -- who police say had been drinking heavily -- brought out a Ruger rifle and fired several shots. According to police, one bullet went through the ceiling and pierced a radiator pipe in the apartment above. The bullet then shattered a glass dining table. The tenant in the apartment above and Zybert's friends fled the house and called the police, police reported.
Zybert is charged with reckless endangerment in the first degree. He will be arraigned today in First District Court in Central Islip.

Me and Dave
Me and my partner that day, Dave, had a no heat call. It was a warm air system. We had heard about the shooting a couple days earlier. The guy got arrested. I guess he couldn't get the burner going so he fired a shot into the duct work.
The entrance hole could be seen right in the supply plenum, the exit wound was in the kitchen floor right under the dining table.
I think it was a plugged oil filter.

He should have shot at
the oil filter.
