Hoffman 75's

I recently went to purchase 3 Hoffman 75's for my steam mains. Took advice from Steamhead and need two on one side of my main and one on the shorter one.

However....the price of them blew me over...$79 dollars? Does that seem right? Or could there be a "cheaper" place to get them?

They're not cheap

The Gorton #1 is less expensive in my experience, is just as well made and has the same capacity.

I was under the impression

that the Hoff's were a little better. I suppose I can get the Gorton's. You told me to try right through them and tell them that "Steamhead sent me!"

Are the DOLE #1's the same.....venting capacity that is?

This might actually be a radiator vent. Or is that the 1A? It's been a LONG day. If it's the adjustable radiator vent it does the same as the Hoffman 1A. If not I'll have to look a bit closer.....
