Focus pro 3000 Thermostat

I recently installed a Focus Pro 3000 Thermostat on my one-pipe steam heat system. Programmed it accordingly for 1cph and for gas millivolt. When it calls for heat, the thermostat kicks the boiler on, but allows the boiler to run for a short period of time...like 15 minutes. The rads in the house BARELY get hot...and the Focus pro therm is maintaining a temp 2 degrees BELOW what the actual house is. (I have several room thermometers in the house...)It also turns the boiler on when the house is at let's say....68 degrees...and the therm is set for 68 degrees! Thus, I believe, the reason why the boiler does not run long....My old, ROUND honeywell for millivolt worked well and my house was never cold or overheated....NOW...a problem. Wish I still had the old round one! What can I do? Or....is this new Focus Pro 3000 not designed with STEAM in mind....

    with the round...

I just set the temp to where I wanted it....it was a specific round for millivolt steam. NEVER had a problem....

It rarely overshot the temp...and the boiler cycled on and off every other hour or so...unless it was very cold....

SHould I go back to the round for better comfort?

    In my

Visionpro stat, Installer Setup Number 0680 is for Standard temperature control in heating. Its default is 2. It can be set to 3 if getting temperature undershoot.

You may want to look to see if you have this installer option and what is its current setting.
