Pressuretrol Question

Actually- it turns out that I have to turn the Pressuretrol up to about 3psi for the system to stay running. The lower pressure setting at 1.5 kept it cold all night. Problem is, now- at 3psi- the boiler- and the whole system for that matter- makes a lot of noise. Hammer, weird venting, etc...
Any thoughts?

pressuretrol Question
Okay-
I reset my pressuretrol (W-R 1204-5) to .5psi with diff at 1. The system stopped working. When I kicked it up to 1.5 with diff at 1.5 the system kicked back on. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks,

I have the same problem with a PA-404a, except I have to crank it up even higher. Anyone have any ideas?
