Venting air

I am having a problem with my cast iron baseboard. Every time I vent them (hot water system) they have air to vent. This could be every week. This has been going on for quite some time. I've drained the expansion tank that hangs over the boiler (an old Weil-Mclain). And I've put a bucket under the relief valve, to see if I'm passing water and refilling automatically. No, it seems fine. Thoug I did experience that problem last year. Any ideas why this is happening? I have this cast iron baseboard in 3 different rooms, and every one can vent air often.
