banging in steam lines in 100-unit building

Large apartment building has problem with banging in steam lines. Others (before me) installed a maze of steam traps which did not ease the problem. I tried a condensate system in what I thought to be an appropriate spot (to drain excess water), but the problem still exists. What I require is the services of an Engineer familiar with steam systems for a site visit and analysis. If any of you are out there, please contact me so I can get an idea of your fee and approach building management with the idea of a professional engineering survey to hopefully identify and cure the problem. Thanks.
