stuffing box or mechanical seal on condensate pumps

in THE MAIN WALL
condensate return pumps. I have a 6 gph low pressure, steam boiler with duel condensate pumps that need replacing. The debate is whether to replace with mechanical seals or continue with the stuffing box for the shaft seal. What would you do?
