Hello. Thanks in advance for your help -- four days ago I found a half-cup puddle of boiler water on the basement floor; yesterday another half-cup+ puddle appeared. Appears to originate from below the boiler (the heat dries out the concrete floor immediately near the boiler). The water guage level dropped by half over these four days. It's a Weil-McLain (age unknown), single-pipe steam; near-boiler piping was replaced last spring (by local Find-a-Pro). Thoughts?
Aside: the pressuretrol runs the boiler a bit high (2.25# - 3.25#); was planning on replacing it with a vaporstat but the leak (?) seems more important now!
Many thanks.
