Aurora Borealis

Quite a show here tonight just South of the 45th parallel. Reds and greens, white and burgundy colors shimmering and shooting all the way to the zenith of the sky. I feel sorry for all you guys in the cities where the lights in the sky are drowned out by the lights on the ground. Wish I had a camera that would take pics adequately so you all could see them. I bet the are kicking up big time up in Weezbo's territory.
Probably why my cell phone hasn't been worth a tinkers toot for the last 3 days.

Aurora
Driving back from my homesite Sunday night I got to watch a terrific display that covered virtually the entire sky to the south (that happens when you live north of 62°). An added bonus was that there was a lot of red in the Aurora, rather than the usual bright green.
Heard from others that those lights were visible as far south as Denver. Guess I'll have to get the 35mm and tripod out again.
