First Mickey-Mouse Discovery On Site...

As you may recall, in order to keep the local DPW happy we had to run a second water line to the house for our sprinkler system, the so-called "fire-line". This 1.5" dia. line terminates inside the house and sported a small test nipple so that our plumber could test the integrity of the line before and after backfilling.

Later on, the fire-protection company came along to install the Blazemaster tubing and, overall, they have done a very good job of roughing all in. Hence, I am more than a bit perplexed by the following picture which shows how they interfaced the 1.5" fire line and the indoor Blazemaster tubing.

This is an easy fix, but it is also the first instance of less-than-stellar thinking on this jobsite...
