Biasi B10 Boiler Bypass

    No mention in my B10 manual

    of any bypass piping. The B-10 used to be called the Vega.

    Solaia vs B10

    Nice pic eleft, and it is a "Biasi" casting; it is not the same design as the B10 casting. With that in mind( I won't use the HST phrase), the Biasi B10 manual does not mention any need for a bypass. The GG20 iron will take low temp return water. Flue gas condensation protection depends on the system design, and should be built in as appropriate.

    Call to QHT indicates bypass is needed

    I called QHT and they indicated that a bypass is only needed when a certain amount of radiation is exceeded. However, they left me with the impression that it is a good idea in any case.

    you'll be happy too hear I'm doing one tommorrow with a Reillo,hope I don't have problems,Dave it was hard mounting the boiler like this
