That Odyssey is a nice little boiler - Oil fired, cast iron and will accept return temps down to 90F. The fill and expansion tank placement are questionable but the 3-way thermostatic should work fine. What was the problem? Dan

Since I didnt install this and I havent installed this brand, I went online to find some info on it and its microprosessor.

I didnt find much but I did find a piping diagram that shows a boiler by pass so I questioned its ability to handle the low return temps. Does it have "pump logic"?

I also think its a Caprice, not the Odyssey

for sure..nice little unit. I want to try one soon. It has outdoor reset standard. What % is the radiant to the heatloss? How was it piped to the zone any mini primary/ sec.? kpc

The "caprice" is a packaged steel with top flue. What you have is the "odyssey" cast iron. The casting I believe is Italian and carries about 5 gallons of fluid, the control is NY's Sentry - the same control type as they use on the Trinity with different programming. Comes complete with outdoor reset and the control handles both heating load and priority DHW indirect. Enjoy....Dan
