OK here's the scoop, Is it good pratice to install an air removal
device on the system side of the LLH. There will be 3 high temp
circuts and 1 mixing valve for radiant loops?
Thanks, Steve

Air removal
The LLH doesn't require air removal, but the Vitodens is most sensitive to purging correctly. All air must be removed during startup, and some get impatient with how long it takes. (myself included) Since a LWCO is required in the state of WA, we're installing the LLH higher than the boiler, and adding the air vent. The air vent on the LLH still needs to be bled during purging several times. If you can still hear the system after purging, there's still air in the system. I like to put purge valves on each return, to aid system side air removal. Additional Air vents should not be neccessary on the system side, but it helps to install at least manual air vents on air handler coils/baseboard.

Lash up
Alaskan: verb as in "That's a great lash up!" can mean a job or the process of assembling a system or the system itself.
Near as I can tell from reading it in other posts anyway..........0 -
Needed? Nope. Good practice???
You would think that the LLH is the perfect spot for an automatic air elimination devise. Further, the bottom well suited for the expansion tank. I've been placing 1-1/4" Spirovents on the system supply off the LLH and have not noticed much hissing at that location. I've probably been overkilling it on the system side because the air eliminator on the Vitodens HISSES a whole lot during this finicky purging process. I think I'll stop wasting the bucks on the air eliminator.
The air catches in the LLH top and it helps to be bled off a few times during startup. That HX flashes to steam scarily quickly then shuts down the entire system even more quickly. THANK GOD!!! If this happens more than a few times, the burner locks you out.
I say not needed.
