Clarification of low voltage boiler circuit.

I am troubleshooting a 2 zone gas hydronic system. My thinking is: 24 volts from transformer power the t-stats-zone valves-end switch makes the relay start the circulator and gas valve. When the relay makes, the 24 volts to power the gas valve comes from the transformer that is part of the aquastat/relay. Is this correct, or does the same transformer that powers the t-stats and zone valve also power the gas valve?
Thanks for any reply. BB

It could be
just one transformer powering the zone valves and gas valve . What brand boiler and aquastat is there ?0
