hydro air

I am looking at a job that has multiple hydro air units 2 indirect water heaters and 2 zones radiant the supply house speced this out sound like a up sell to me now using a 2 buderus boilers piped together with logamatic control outdoor reset they propose to use motorized mixing valves on each hydro unit i do not understand what the advantage of that is if the boiler is on outdoor reset. Say if boiler calls for 150 degrees why have a motorized mixing valve for each zone what is the advantage when the boilers call for 150.how does that save money To me it sounds better to use outdoor reset on boiler for hydro air zones and motorized mixing valves for radiant and indirect on priority also what is better for this the logamatic or a tekmar control. Also what kind of thermostats would be good to use they will have floor sensors for radiant.Piping will all be done primary secondary.any thoughts would help

hydro air
Unless the hydro air units are constantly on and you are monitoring the discharge air temp, the air temp in the heated space will be unstable. we almost always run high temp (180*) to the air handlers to prevent cool air being delivered on start up.
Why Multiple boilers? Is the load that heavy? Unless you're talking a substantial heating load, it doesn't usually make sense to add that second boiler.
