Gravity return domestic water system

I have a gravity return system on the domestic water system in a new house that works really well except for the kitchen sink. It seems to take longer than just a few seconds like the rest of the house to get the hot water going, so I'm considering installing a bronze pump to help things out. Any advice to which pump to use and how do I control it.... use a timer or do I leave it run constantly? Does someone out there offer a package that includes a circulator, wiring and timer?? Any suggestions would be most helpful. Thank you!!!

domestic hot water recirc
grundfoss has a new system with cold return which may be applicable.controls are on pump for constant or intermittant service.also possible is taco (or any)bronze body pump with an aquastat upstream to read return temp.there are many other options at your supply house.you may also find that, because of the way it is piped, the offending sink may be out of the loop.many buildings are piped with a modified homerun system which precludes a single recirc system.while a single main feed with each fixture on a branch is ideal,it seldom actually happens.so hit the supply houses, examine your system, and think it out.good luck0 -

Could you tell me
where the problem sink is , in relation to the hot water source ? How far away and is it above , below or the same height of the hot water source ? I'm helping someone design a gravity recirc system and the info would be helpful , thanks .0 -
Metlund
Hello: A Metlund demand system installed at the kitchen sink would fix the problem with minimal operating costs. I think it is " gothotwater.com " .0
