Thermostatic trap question
Eric Barger
Member Posts: 8
On my 2-pipe system with about 24 radiators, I have not a single thermostatic trap nor an F&T Trap,
What should I do, after reading Don's books it seem like this is the necessary. The house has had the heating system inplace for about 100 years and has had no problems thus far.

What to do?
Sounds like it's just fine the way it is. You may have built-in steam regulators such as orifices on the radiator supply and or small steam restricting els on the outlets, just as designed. Show us some pictures. Perhaps the best thing you could do for it would to add a Vaporstat to help ensure the gentle steam pressure it was built for.0 -
