Tekmar and WM Ultra Grrrrrrr!

I've been waiting 5 weeks for three AM-4 modules, running out of time and patience with this baloney! How can either one of those companies not have at least 100 of them on shelves somewhere in this country? WM says it is all Tekmar's fault, well I don't care whose fault it is, I have a very irate customer because of it.

    Just checked stock.....

with the Company that I deal with and they have two(2).....
If you need them I can have them in day or two and mail them.

While your at it get the Gascom software from WM, it makes setting the boilers up for the Tekmar a breeze!!!
Just hookup the Laptop to the boiler module and a couple of clicks does it all.

    Thanks Floyd

I really appreciate your offer, but my distributor has just tonight promised on his first born son's head that I will have them here Friday morning. Of course "I" have to pay additional for express shipping. If these folks open their shirts, their hearts will fall right out! If he could locate them under threat of a boot in the butt, why couldn't he find them weeks ago? I'll never understand the short-sightedness of this industry.

    How is it tekmars fault?

tekmar DOESN't make the AM-4 Module for Weil McLain.

Mike, I have dealt with you in the past and you have always been a straight shooter so I have no reason to doubt your word. But that means someone at Weil McLain is telling whoppers of lies. They have told me that Tekmar makes the part for them, and cannot supply them within a reasonable time frame. None the less, I have a completed system (3 Ultras, and my Tekmar 265 all finished and I can't fire the system without the AM-4 modules. It is getting plenty cold in the church, and the congregation is a good bit upset.

    Hey there Grumpy....

Just in case the Am-4 mods. don't show up..... I beg to differ with you about firing the boilers.....
There is no reason that you can't set the boilers up to run independently for a short period of time... stager the setpoints so that they don't all try to slam on and off....
set a lead boiler up to run to say 170, the next to 165, the last to 160.....not the greatest way to do it, but it would work in a pinch. put cords on the circ.s and plug them in to run constant....for now. Hey it might make it easier for them to Praise the Lord on sunday. :-)
A bit of extra work for you, but a happy customer(s) is ALWAYS worth it.

    Thanks Grumpy

I don't know why someone at Weil McLain would tell you that it is tekmar who is delaying the AM-4 Modules. Most likely miscommunication or simply a misunderstanding.

Floyd is right, you could let them run in parallel for the time being until you get the Modules.

Hope you're able to work with that for now. Wish I could help.

    Mike
