Dan's Seminar

A Comment...

Today I had the pleasure of attending Dan Holohan’s “Classic Hydronics” seminar on Long Island. It was worth a heck of a lot more than the $139 he charges. The vast majority of the class were heating system professionals from all around the region, the kind of quality professionals that take their continuing education very seriously. There were also a few ordinary homeowners like myself who need to make intelligent and informed decisions on upgrading and replacing there home heating systems.

Having already read two of Dan’s books, his lively seminar was like the icing on the cake. Everything was presented in plain English and I felt like a real insider with the quality and quantity of the material presented. Considering the costs and complexities of home heating upgrades and replacements, the ability to become a better informed and more knowledgeable customer is priceless.

From Dan's seminar, my sons and I returned to the glorious Adirondacks in northern NY (radiant heating country). We fired up another radiant job today while the snow was falling and the temps were dropping. My sons and I watched as the homeowner gave us a smile that was worth $18,500. My son Chris graduated in June with his Master's degree in Geology and has come home, by choice, to work in the family P&H business. Having worked with me many summers and knowing what he is getting in to, he told me that he enjoys seeing the product from design to sale to development through installation to completion. With his Master's, however, we need to give him a title.
