boiler is flooding and going to the head on the presser and spil

I don't know about this specific system. I'm guessing the presser spills steam and is therefore not really a closed system, so the makeup hard water could be causing problems, is it softened? I'm also guessing that the MM system may be leaking through and perhaps you could manually shut it off and see if the problem continues.

boiler is flooding and going to the head on the presser and spil

We have a presser in a Tailor shop.We installed a 1.5 hp boiler little over two years ago.It worked perfect for a little over two years.
What we have is a 1"supply Line (steam ) from the boiler to the presser with a 1" ball valve, 3/4" condensate line from the presser into the boiler with a check valve. thus making it a close system. It has a water pump 1/4 hp that feeds the boiler with 1/2" line that has two check valves and ball valve.
The boiler has a McDonald Miller system.
The problem we are experiencing is the boiler is flooding and going to the head on the presser and spilling on the floor.
I've talked to Lattner Boiler Company that sold us the boiler, they said I have a vacuum problem. They recommend I use a vacuum breaker in which I installed, and still getting an overflow in the boiler. The McDonald Miller system works as it should,it cuts off at the water line which it should. We are still receiving water that floods the boiler.
The controls are set @80psi and the differential at 8-10psi.
We would appreciate any help you can give us.
