Another Prayer

Young couple suffers a HUGE personal tragedy

After installing one of the most sophisticated & expensive hydronic systems for my clients, they suffer a personal tragedy that is unimaginable.

These kind folk buy an old house and started to settle into their new environment. They were extremely concerned about tightening up the envelope of their old house and contracted with me to have the new heating system and new radiant floors installed.

Upon completion they encountered a personal & tragic loss.

Making a long story short,,, The owners- His wife was pregnant with twins on the way. They had everything in order. New -old house, new hydronic system. New thoroughbred hunting puppy-dog. I mean Everything!

There came a serious problem a week ago & an emergency C-section was able to save only one of the pre-mature twins. Last Saturday’s emergency heart surgery on the surviving twin proved to be futile. He has lost two of his sons/daughters.

I’ve never asked for prayers from anyone. This is a site for Heating Q&A. It’s not for me. The pain that my customer may be going through is beyond me. The feeling I get when I look at The Wall for help is an inspiration.

Please send your wishes here.

    That's really tough...

... no one should have to bury their children... or anyone else they love for that matter. I hope that they can get over this tragedy and perhaps have more children in the future... and however upset one may get about the details of daily life, it is stories like this that put everything back into perspective.

    Our prayers

are with these people, Gary. Even as parents of twins, Marianne and I can only imagine the pain of this loss. So sad, especially at this time of the year.

    the grief is overwhelming

    Gary,

One of my fellow volunteer grief counselors worked mostly with these situations. They may have already been given some options from the hospital. If not, try putting "neonatal death" and the town or county name into google. There are people and groups who do this as their specialty and do marvelous work.

My blessings to the souls who tried to join this world and the parents who remain.

It sounds like you may have developed a good relationship with them. If you feel free to do so, please tell them that our church is praying for them. I put it on our prayer chain here and there are now about 80 families asking for God's grace and strength for them. Their need is great but so is the strength that comes from prayer and faith.

He never promised it would be easy, only that He would be with us through our trials.

It will be a year ago the 18th that my best friend was killed. It still hurts........

    Nothing Tougher....

than burying your children. My old neighbor lost a girl in a similar situation, but two? Wow...

My sister has twins, and they are double the gift...and I suppose double the pain for that couple in times like this.

May the Good Lord softly hold those children in the palm of his hand.

    Take care, PJO
