Anyone know of any good sources for european way of hydronics?
Websites that show how they think, and the way things are done over there.
Books like that of Siegenthaler's but more emphasis on european piping styles.
I heard that they don't use a lot of circulators but use more 4 way and three way valves and of course trv's.
I don't if i'll ever go to europe to see first hand, but would like to know more.

Euro stuff
Try www.comfortableheat.net which is the site of the Hydronic Heating Association. Most members are very involved in Euro systems. There are some very good articles archived, including the paper by Joe Friedrich on Continuous Circulation, which is the premise of Euro design.

Hmmmm....
Never mind the translation... most of the stuff at hauesler seems to be directed at Junkers and Vaillant systems. Between the slang usage, etc. the machine translation into english should produce rather entertaining threads.
Some of the Viessmann stuff was interesting though.. like the guy trying to short out his oil-pre-warming-circuit (?) to get his boiler to function normally. I have to double-check my manuals, but I wasn't aware that the Vitola had a oil-warming circuit..0
