Remote sensor for thermostat

What is a good thermostat to use for an application that would need to sense temperature in a crawlspace but have the readout and adjustment in another area? Is there even a product for this? This is a hydronic zone controlled by a 24v zone valve.

    Remote sensing thermostat

We like to use Tekmar's 509 thermostat for remote sensor heating applications. It is a single stage heat 24v unit with a remote 10k sensor, ambient conditions of -22 to 131F. We typically apply it in radiant floor systems in potential overheating rooms such as a kitchen or sunspace, but they could be used in many other applications as well. The quality is typical Tekmar - you will be impressed.

    thankyou

I am familiar with Tekmar and didn't even think about them for this application. It actually is a crawlspace under a kitchen. Todd

    What Greg said!

The 509 (508 + 079 Slab Sensor) comes with a Slab Sensor that you could leave dangling in the crawl space for air temp readout, or, you could order the 508 thermostat and a remote air sensor 076 or 077.

    Hope this helps.

    Stat

I agree. The Tekmar 508 is a good basic thermostat that is not expensive and is accurate. Honeywell does make a setback stat that is good, but a lot more money than the Tekmar.
