The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and the Unitary Products Group (UPG) of York International voluntarily announced recalls of certain Coleman, Coleman Evcon and Red T brand gas furnaces. These furnaces can overheat, causing heat-exchanger cracking, burn-through and, in extreme cases, furnace wrapper burn-through. York has received 27 reports of fires, some resulting in extensive property damage that could be related to these hazards. There have been no injuries reported. Even prior to the recalls, UPG established a notification effort that resulted in more than 26,000 calls to the program support center and 28,000 website hits. Call York at 888-665-4640 or visit www.dgatprogram.com for more information.
Retired and loving it.

Yes
That is for the manufactured housing (a.k.a.tornado magnet)
product.Almost all were due in part to either overfireing (like running on fuel other than natural or propane, such as well gas.Or incorrect fireing rate/set-up)or lack of mantenance (what air filter?) so far.(As per the fall UPG Service Managers Meeting/September 2004.Norman,Oklahoma)0
