A dying child's last wish

I am working on a story for The News about the wonderful members of the National Capitol Chapter of the Air Conditioning Contractors of America. As part of their participation in the first ever "Heat the Country" program, they donated the labor and new heating and cooling equipment to the Cody Johnson family.
Cody Johnson is a two-year-old boy who was recently diagnosed with Stage IV Neuroblastoma, a tumor of the sympathetic nervous tissue and adrenal gland. Cody is receiving treatment at the Lombardi Cancer Center of Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C. Cody is currently undergoing intensive chemotherapy which suppresses the immune system and makes him vulnerable to life- threatening infections. It is important that his living environment be clean and free of mold.
Cody's condition is terminal and the prognosis is that he has perhaps a year to live. His picture is attached. That big smile is enough to break anyone's heart.
The chapter has started a collection for funds to help the Johnson family (in addition to Cody there is his four year old sister, Daniella and six year old brother, Justin) for the holidays. Donations can be sent to ACCA-NCC at P.O. Box 4268, Silver Spring, MD 20914-4268.
Knowing the big hearts and generosity of Wallies, I'm sure many will see the need and help the family. I will.
Thanks.

I'll be doing a benefit seminar
in December 16 for ACCA-NCC. Washington Gas is donating the auditorium.
The seminar is The Lost Art of Steam Heating. I'll get the details up on the Wall and in the calender ASAP.
Hug your kids.Retired and loving it.0 -
Thanks Dan
I urge anyone in the DC area to come out and hear a great seminar (I can attest to that) and know that your registration fee will help out little Cody and his family. It's a wonderful thing that Dan is doing.0 -
