hi can you guys tell me how fast dose baseboard heat your house up dose your boiler have to fire up twice in one heating cycle or should your t-stat satisfy and turn boiler off in one cycle

I just got my buderus g115 and I am having baseboards installed and I wanted to see what you guys think of it I just don't want something that is going to keep the boiler going all day my house is well insulated and my boiler is sized good.

also slantfin software said I need 36 feet of baseboard but I want a strip along the other side of the room because it's a big room and there is French doors
that go into the kitchen so I am going to add 44 feet

will that be ok?

thanks

How long a heat call lasts will depend on how much baseboard you have and the heat loss of the house. How can anyone tell you how long a heating cycle will be in your house?

If you use 500F water, maybe you will heat the house in 30 sec. and it will stay heated for a whole day without needing any more cycles. However, that is the worst possible way to do it. The efficient way is to use a boiler that is as small a possible, ans use as much baseboard as you can fit in (even if it is more than your calculation says you need), and then lower the water temperature until the boiler runs all the time. Which is exactly the opposite of what you apparently want to do.
