AND THE CUSTOMER IS ASKING FOR HYDRONIC CEILING PANELS
ANY SUGGESTION ON WHO MAKES THEM?
WE HAVE DONE THE ELECTIC UNITS BUT NEVER WATER

You can use most prefab panels, like quik trak. Or you can use lightweight plates, with plywood/osb strips perpendicular to the joists is best.

Watch your water temps, don't wanna ruin the sheetrock!

Radiant ceiling panels

There are a number of manufactured units- basically extruded aluminum with copper tubing attached to the back face of the panel. Some links:

And do a google search on radiant ceiling panels to see some other hits. There are also the applied capillary tube systems like www.naturalcooling.com that are plastered into a finished plaster surface.
