to a problem I would have never imagined.
Just remind the owners to have a set of replacement filters on hand and to change the whole set at once when the flow drops below acceptable levels. They might think they could replace them one at a time and save money.

            least expensive filter solution...
it was recently discovered that nyc tap water had copepods in it, these are tiny coruscations, that while killed by the chlorine, are still visible to those with good eyesight and thus forbidden to ingest by orthodox Jews,
customer did not want to just have an under sink filter but rather the whole house, trouble is, that customer base, tends to have a pre-Sabbath water use rush hour where all the showers run at once, together with laundry and at least one sink, (yes typical house has 75-100g DHW, and yes, major pressure problems), so a singe regular whole house filter was out of the question
so I put six 5gpm undersink ones in parallel, will give decent flow and decent life since it is basically only a rust/dirt/sediment filer setup cost apx $700 160 of which is the filters themselves though the RS2 replacement elements are 2.69ea and avail at LOWES
closest whole house filter with anywhere near that flow rate and filter life, is well over a thousand dollars
