customer yesterday. She is the Grand-Niece of Ghandi. Intersting to see his picture on the wall along with the other family potraits. (and here's Uncle Mohatmha. what a joker.) I also take care of David Brinkleys son. No big deal but I enjoy seeing celebritys in group family pictures on the wall, where they get to be themselves. Makes me wonder, what notable customers have you all had?

    The \"right\" Rev. Profeta...

Remember Jim Baker, PTL, Jessica Hahn, and other slimy stuff? You should get a peek at where the money goes. You should get an earful of how these types really converse. Then try to keep your lunch down!

    Wayco Wayne...

    Hey Wayne:

Ask David Brinkley's son if he went to American Univeristy, and if he remembers running for station manager of WAMU-AM in 1980.

    not to be pedantic

OK, to be pedantic, it is "Gandhi", nor Ghandi, and "Mahatma" (great soul), not whatever it is you wrote.

Just helping out so you don't insult your customers unintentionally.

    I'm pretty sure he did

and I've listened to WAMU for decades. I liked the weekday bluegrass especially. Now they only play it on Sunday, and it's mostly "Stainedglass" Bluegrass. It's good too. Oh Brother, Whereart thou? :)WW

    Thank you for

the correction. Although I doubt I'll remember it. Her name is no longer the G word, so I'm safe within my ignorance. (whew!) WW

    I guess being in

the DC area in gives me a lot more of a chance to bump into someone in the news. I once did an air balance job for a homeless shelter built by the DC government and met Activist Mitch Snider. I have also done work for several congressmen and a Senator. The Senators wife was very rude to us and I had to smale a few months later when Her husband was caught in a scandal and had to resign. Nyuk nyuk nyuk. Afriend of mine rode down an elevator with Mr T. I pity the fool that uses schorched air heatign. WW

    celebs

Went to winterize a small cottage that was supposed to be empty when we got there. Met Paul Newman, suitcase in hand on his way out the door. I have worked for Luis Guzman, actually helped him unload some stuff out of a moving van. He is a super guy. Worked for Michael Eisner back before he ran Disney World. EJW

    did service for

Vincent Price (the actor from the old horror movies ) had a summer home in southwestern Ontario, and I did service on his boiler, and Bob Seger (Rock Star) had a summer cottage.

Met the band too. A very great bunch of guys.

I had to figure out why the boiler in the \"Big House\" in

Cumberland MD would not fire. They checked me in, inventoried my tools and belongings, and lead me to the boileroom. I was told to be sure to leave with exactly what I went in with. Well wouldn't you know that as I was packing up I noticed that one of the ends of my five-in-one screwdriver was missing!! It was found under the boiler after an exhaustive search. phew. Those guys may have not been celebs, but they were of some "notoriety".

We service Herman Wouk's residence. I serviced Gordon Liddy's house. I checked the boiler in the National Cathedral's greenhouse once.

My favorite places are the nursery schools. I try to smile and share a word in the nursing homes. All customers get the same level of service. Some really grumpy people only get one service call.

    I'm guessing

he's referring to some sort of prison, based on the tool-inventory story.

I worked on the addition to the federal penitentiary in Marion, IL. John Gotti was in there, and the "Falcon and the Snowman" guy. I think McVeigh was there for a while too, before he went to Indiana.

Lots of interesting characters. I was told to watch out walking through there, because they would throw fecal matter at you.
