Wirsbo Truflow Manifold & Zone Controller

I'm trying to get a simple radiant system I had installed at my house up and running and I'm having trouble with some of the components, I'm sure it's something simple.
I have 2 wires from a pump relay going to the ES OUT terminals on the controller. When I try to jumper power from the R & C terminals to the ES IN terminals it sounds like it's shorting and the green light goes out. How do I plug in the pump so it shuts off when the thermostats don't call for heat?
Also, I have 2 Truflow manifolds and 1 old style with valves. I'm getting flow through the old one but not the Truflows. One of the valves is supposed to be on-off but it just looks like a cap. How do they work?
Thank you

Had Installed???
If it was installed why are you trying to get it running? Seems to me like you need to get the contractor back in to finish the job. From your comments you are not up to speed on low voltage wiring and a few other things and tinkering around will only cost you more money in the long run. I am surprised that you have not let some of John Barba's "special factory smoke" out of something. Get a pro in there to do it right.

pump control Wirsbo 3 zone controller.
So I figured out what the allen wrench is for, thank you. I just want to know how to plug in the pump. The installer was a plumber who would be no help.0
