Need equivalant peerless replacement. Existing steamer is an American Standard,AMERICAN ARCOLINER M# WO154T SERIES 1BTJ1 360 STEAM 580 H2O 1.5 GPH. I've already checked the BEACON book 1959&prior. Also is the 360 steam # based on square feet of radiation? Boiler footprint is 22"w x 26"deep with an 8" flue.

If the existing boiler is sized right
the Peerless EC 3 section has 3 different sq. ft. steam ratings ( depending on the nozzle size ) and 360 falls right in the middle of them . Perfect match to increase or decrease the load if needed . Yep , it's based on square feet of radiation .
To be sure about the connected load , I would measure up the radiators and make sure the boiler is the right size .0
