    Nice Clean Job, Question

What is above the boiler in picture 004? It looks like a old steam to hot water heat exchanger, was this job ever steam or gravity?

Not sure what you are looking at, but in the new shots there is an old steel pipe near the chimney. This was no doubt a over flow from a expansion tank in the attic.

In the before shots there is a side arm tankless HWH that was out of service. They have a gas HWH around the corner.

    Thanks for the comments

    Thanks

It was the side arm tankless that I was wondering about. Every old basement a little museum.

    Some wallies

have asked in the past "what's an everhot" the red gizzmachi on the side of the boiler is an everhot. All copper heat exchanger good stuff. bob
  • Good work Chris

Attention to detail , even on the smaller jobs is what separates the cream from the crop . I like the gages on each return and keeping the piping away from all the serviceable areas . Do you find it harder to change the pumps when they're that high ? Keep the pics coming guys .

    Ron,

As long as there are shut-offs on either side, it's no prblem. The basement ceiling is only about 6' high, and those pumps are just above eye level. Thanks for the kind words. Chris
