need to replace my supply valves??

I need to replace one of my supply valves on a cast iron radiator (steam heat). What's the best way to go about this. It seems pretty straight forward except these radaitors are probably 75 years old and I don't want to break any pipes. Does anyone have any suggestions? Which part unscrews?
