need help

i'm currently putting togather an advertizing self mailer for my new business, i've got to come up with 10 quick reseason's why it would benifit future customers to either update there old systems or switch to oil over other alternative fuels, i've come up with a few obvious ones but would appreciate some input on others ideas, i thought i would also put in some trivia facts, if you guys could help me out i'de really appreciate it. thanks for your time.

    fuel savings, warranty, peace of mind, quieter operation, reliability, superior on-time responsive service, trucks stocked with all necessary repair parts, newer equpipment easier to troubleshoot/repair, no obsolete parts to deal with and retrofit, comfort...

    and with all due respect to you and your endeavors, throw all your ideas into ms word, and spell-check it!

    hey, mark w may have some good points, he may not, I'm not really sure, but if spellling is his biggest hang-up, don't sweat it, i like your ideas, and the direction you're going. never give up & go for it!

    Limit the bullets!

    Boiler Boy, my ad agency long ago taught me to limit to 5 items in a list of any sort. They argue that a customer gets turned off and tunes out when confronted with a big list of items in a row. Better to pick 5 dynamite bullets for the lead, and then plug in additional information throughout the text message. Best of luck with your ad program.

    I'm with Mark W. How many customers are you willing to lose by not appearing completely professional in their eyes? For me, the answer is zero. I don't spell check my posts here as it doesn't seem to be a necessary part of the forum's style, everywhere else I spell check.

    It's hard enough to get good customers, why beef about getting the spelling right. IMO you should have someone copy edit all your promotional work. You are expending effort and money on this with the hope of making more. Make it count for the most.
