If your not from heaah can you really get it?? All those yeaahs of the curse , of Bucky (bleepin) Dent , and The Evil Empire. My grandfaahther was born in 1911. He remembered the last time. After T.V came out he watched every single came he could. When we went camping he brought a tiny cheap transistor radio that somehow could always find the game on that scratchy A.M. radio. When the Walkman came out he got one, so he wouldn't miss out while playing golf. He said he could never die , because the RedSox couldn't win one. Sadly he didn't make it, he passed away a couple years ago. I didn't cry at his funeral , but last night I shed a few teaahs , thinking of him and what he would of thought about this. That is what it means to be from heaah. Joy and sadness all rolled into one.

Here in Joisey, we're three way split when it comes to baseball. Yanks, Mets or Philly. I personally could care less, but I do enjoy our many minor league teams, and take the "little ones" to the Somerset Patriots games. It's great fun, no hassles, players are accessable and friendly, baseball like it should be. Enjoy your victory, and I hope that "Beantown" isn't wrecked by crazies.

Happy New Englanders!

I was outside on the deck last night, listening to the game, and watching the moon as it was getting ready to come out of eclipse. Last out, and the cheers and roars from downtown Dover, NH were AWESOME!!! I was glad I was outside to hear that! I think the whole city was awake!

And it was sort of poetic to listen to the Sox come out from under one shadow, while watching the moon come out from under the other shadow.
