Suntec 3006 (Cleancut) Valve Blocks Shutter Screw

I wanted to install this pump and tried to, and realized that the valve that sticks upright covers the upper screw on the shutter adjustment. This makes it impossible to rotate the shutter since you can loosen the screw for instrument (realtime) adjustments. If I leave it loose or missing the bottom one really only stops the shutter so it wont' stay.. This seems like this shouldn't be an issue.
Have you run into this and what is the fix. It is the Suntec AV2A-3006 with the soldenoid and a Beckett AFG.

Hey Bill
If you had the Beckett Cleancut we ship instructions to modify older burners to fit the pump, and also a four second time delay. Basicaly it goes like this, remove the pump, remove both screws for the shutter, remove the shutter then break off the small tab that keeps the bottom screw from being able to tighten, replace the bottom screw only and use that screw for snugging down the shutter. The upper screw is not needed any more and will just apply pressure to the solenoid coil causing a possible leak in the valve stem.0
