I have a one pipe steam system in my house. In the middle bedroom upstairs I have a radiator hook up but no radiator. The bedroom measures 10 x 9. I wanted to put in a 2 foot Burnham Baseray, but being that it is a one pipe system the manufacter does not reccomend it. I had the same radiator istalled in a downstairs bathroom about 4 years ago and never had a problem with it. The upstairs of the house is fairly warm so I won't be expecting it to heat up the room I just want it to take the chill out of the air when needed. Since there is nothing in there now I am really wondering what the harm would be?
