A Word of Thanks (CvW)

... so I decided to get a bit more educated about the heating system that is being installed into my home. I knew that Ms. Vitola is a beautiful piece of equipment, now I can appreciate her even more.

Thankfully, while the folks at Viessmann may have been surprised to see a homeowner among the ranks of the contractors, wholesalers, etc. at the two-day class, they were happy to have me along anyway. Besides being educated in all the ways Viessmann WRT modern boiler technology, I also got a glimpse at a company that really tries to do the right thing.

So, I'd like to extend my thanks to James McCarthy for two days of excellent dialogue, good information, and helpful tips. Furthermore, it was great to meet Ted and Hercules from Patriot Heating among all the other fine gentlemen at the training session.

I now have a small laundry list of discussion points for my heating contractor just in case he hadn't thought of them already (air supply, flue stack temp sensor, and the like). Thus, I'm really happy to have attended the training, appreciate the hospitality, and look forward to living in comfort for the next eon or so.

I may even return for the service and control classes, if possible. Not because I want to get into the business of setting up Viessmann controls or servicing them, but because the topic interests me. And to think that they didn't even make me drink the silver/orange punch.... :-)

However, I doubt I would have gotten interested enough to attempt attending training at Viessmann had it not been for the Wall and all the fine people that kindly share their knowledge and experience here. So a big thanks to all of you as well. Cheers!
