furnance trouble

My furnance is an oil fired cast iron boiler(Malibu). It has 4 separate zones, with 4 separate themostats. It's as if the zones aren't connecting to tell the furnance to fire. When started manually through the Aquastat Relay everything fuel oil runs fine but will soon shut down even if holding in the Aquastat Relay. I have replaced the Aquastat Relay and The oil burner control thinking this would solve the problem. When the old parts were on the oil burner control would hum and eventually go silent with the red light on and the aquastat relay would click when the electrical switch was turned on, now they are both silent. I have turned all themostats up as high as they will go and still cannot get the furnance to fire. I believe we have a zone out but know it worked before with a zone out, we just didn't get any heat in that zone. The pump(Bell & Gossett iron body circulator) seems to possibly not to be working. But, wouldn't think this would keep the furnance from firing, just thought the water would get to hot and spew out the release value. Would the pump or the one zone that is out have anything to do with the themostats not connecting to the oil burner? If not what would you suggest to try.

expensive
By the sound's of it you may have spent a lot of money for something that might be cheap. You haven't mentioned what kind of control system you have for your four zones. Are you using a taco box? 845's? argo box? The reason the unit will shut down is because it will reach high limit. If the circulator is not removing water from the boiler or the zones are closed then it will come to temp and stop, not blow water from the pressure relief valve. When you replaced your aquastat did you set your temps' to what was their prior? Just a suggestion, and I know alot of people get tired of hearing it, but it may end up cheaper to have a pro come in and diagnose it. Even if you only pay his labor (which I don't recommend) he may tell you what is broken....0 -
check to see if you have 24 volts at the low voltage transformer that runs the valves0
