BAXI boilers & water heaters

Have any of you heard of, or used the BAXI boiler?
We were introduced to them today and they do look interesting. Apparently there are something around 100,000 of these installed around the US and Canada. The rep told us he can't get a control board as a replacement because they have never had one go bad???? I have to see this.
Any info would be appreciated.

working on one right now. 2 years old and it needs a new diaphragm for the flow switch and we just put a new air vent in. Not real impressed.

    Baxi

So far so good, I have three installed now, this will be the second winter for two of them. One word of caution, the thermostat connections are 120v.......24 volt thermostats don't work well.............not that I would have been so foolish.

    Baxi combi boilers

    John.
If you are talking about BAXI combination boilers, they are very common all over Euroland, but there is pro & con's with this type of unit.
Many gas COMBI boilers are fitted in small flats and houses here in the UK. Most of these boilers have high outputs to generate enough power to provide instant hot water, 80K BTU is a very common size.
    Hope that's some help.
    Kind regards.
