Boiler Manufs: Crown vs. Weill-McLain

Hello everyone. I am presently receiving bids to replace the gas-fired hot water boiler in my house. I've gotten one bid for $3,9000 for a Crown Aruba boiler, and one for $4,500 for a Weill-McClain CGs boiler. I trust both contractors more or less equally. Is there a difference in the quality of the two products that would justify the extra $600, or should I just go with the Crown?

Thanks,

Brian

    Read the fine print

and see if both contractors are doing identical work, replacing identical components, chimney liner if needed, etc. Both boilers are good and should be similarly priced so your big diff in bids is either just the pricing of the dealer or one doing more or less than the other.
