It took help from above

Getting the old one out took some patience and some help from the big guy upstairs. They had to remove some block wall to get the old one in years ago (1950 ish) and you could tell where they repaired the wall. The old and new went through existing doors.
New is a Viessmann Vitogas 100, 2-stage with outdoor reset serving 4 zones.

    A world of difference...

That replacement job is sweet. I hope that your valves and solder joints won't have the same weeping issues as the old ones did! ;-)

But seriously, your job is much, much neater. Kudos and all that. Cheers!

    Looks Great!!

It would be interesting to hear how the new on operates. How much of the time does the second stage fire. Comparison between then and now type fuel consumption, other operational differences. Inquiring minds want to know!!

Nice to see some quality work going on here in North East IL.

Very nice job, Bob. After all the garbage I see up here on a daily basis, it's great to see some quality work right in my back yard.

Do you mind if I ask which church it is. Just curious if I've driven by it before in my trips thru Ivanhoe.

incredible, nice neat lay out. Future service will be a breeze. Love the Grundfos IFC circs with the Isolator flanges. Keep up the good work!!!
