Help venting Vitodens/Munchkin

I'm trying to figure out whether/how I can vent a munchkin/Vitodens given the location of my chimney and windows. I've attached a picture in which I've written in the relevant (I think) dimensions and drawn a red circle where I was planning to locate the vent.
The issues is that the desired location is in violation of the "3' clearance to inside corners of outside walls" rule because of the 21" extrusion of the chimney from the wall of the house.
So...
a) Can I extend the vent out by 21"?
b) Can I instead locate the vent just above the basement window (below the 1st floor window)? That would seem to violate the 1' from windows or openings, but I never open the basement window and would be willing to seal it up if need be.
c) ?? other suggestions ??
Thanks in advance.

Chimney?
If you are getting a new boiler are you going to use the chimney? Can you use it as a chase and vent up? Do you have a place in the house to run a vertical vent? Like using part of the inside of a closet? Looking at your picture I must say with the glass used in new homes I have seen vents that work in smaller spaces than you have. True, you will see some steamy cloulds out that window but do you plan to open it in the winter? If it were me I would just put the vent closer to the window.0 -
Not a good idea to go closer than code requires to that double hung window, especially if you may use the boiler with an indirect for Domestic Hot Water. Much better to extend the vent along - or through - the brick chimney.0 -
Explore all options
to get the vent up to the roof. Side wall venting is a last resort option. Wind conditions may, and often do, cover the side of the building and chimney with an ice glaze from the exhaust.
Look for a route up through a closet or something. Generally there is a way to get up and out, even if it requires upsizing the vent pipe.

From the picture, this looks like a 2 story house. The chimney appears to have 2, possibly 3 flues.
The Vitodens, depending on model can vent vertically between 20-33 feet.
The only real problem with using an existing flue as the Vito vent chase is if the homeowner also uses a fireplace vented up the same chimney (separate flue) at the same time the Vito (or indeed any boiler vertically vented) is firing.
THe boiler air supply will be sucking in combustion exhaust from the fireplace if there isn't sufficient horizontal and vertical separation between the boiler intake and the fireplace flue, which can cause all kinds of problems for the boiler's combustion efficiency and potential safety hazards.0
