Cleaver Brooks boilers are very reliable ,and efficient the cadillac of scotch marines but the flex-tubes are a little tough to work on --i worked at the rep for Cleaver Brooks -we do a lot of them --if you need fireside gaskets we get them from 1 of the places that used to make them for CB at a good price --biggest problems are lack of refractory maintenance and doors usually you have to lift them with a jack to line-up --there is a company in westchester that does conversions using a Webster burner--that is a p.o.s. --Powerflames are good for intermediate boilers w/gas pilot --but the pilots can be touchy--Gordon Piatt's are nice for larger firing rates and the pilot takes 2 minutes tops to pull the pilot --0 -
