Electric to Hydronic Conversion

A potential customer wants to convert a house from electric heat to hot water baseboard. Is there a btu per foot rating for electric baseboard heat? I know I can convert wattage to btu's, but it may be quicker to go by footage if it is a standard output.

Not really....
Many times it is 250 Watts/foot, but I would NOT bet the business on it.
It is a single phase electrical load. Just multiply amps x volts x 3.4 = Btu's. Or it probably still has the nameplate tag on it - that will tell you right off.
Nominal Wattage guesses will put you in a very awkward position.0
