In floor heat and domestic hot water?

I am searching for a high efficient boiler and domestic hot water tank.I'm currently between choosing from a Viessmann system and a Bedures boiler with a Crown stainlees water heater.I have 1500 sq ft of living floor area that has 7 loops 6" o.c. in 1 zone, this area also has a forced air system as a supplemental heat sorce.
The other 3000 sq ft is in a lower level work space garage area which is approx. 3000 sq ft of area and has 15 loops on 2 zones. This area also has exposure with approx. 65 ln ft. of outside wall and three insulated garage doors the rest of this area is either connected to conditioned basment space or below grade.
Please help me to decide which system would be the best option for me. One additional note. One qoute I recieved said I needed a 91000 BTU boiler and the other said I needed a 222000 BTU bioler. Why such a difference?

Thanks!!!

    Heat loss calc?

Did either contractor do a detailed heat loss of your project?

    One, or both

of those heat load numbers are wrong :)

As Steve mentioned you need to get an accurate heat loss figure. The tubing should have been installed to this figure.

If this is a low temperature radiant floor system, think I would look at a modulating condensing boiler.

This would also help with some load calc error as they modulate over a fairly wide output range.

I'd still suggest getting some better data to size to.

    Boiler Sizing

I agree with Steve and Hot Rod. You need to make sure the heat loss numbers are accurate.

Didn't you say you were going to use domestic hot water also? Sometimes those numbers widely vary depending on what the designer/contractor perceives as your DHW load. Talk with the contractor to see how he calculated your DHW load and make sure he didn't add the DHW load to the environmental conditioning load.
