I am replacing a boiler and installing an in-direct hot water heater. How many BTU's should I have for the in-direct.

indirect
Size the boiler to the heat load, then check the boiler size to the indirect specs provided by the manufacture. there is usually no "add on" for the indirect, but you may need more if the hot water demand is high and the heat load is low. If the boiler sized to the heat load BTU value won't produce enough hot water, you may have to increase the boiler size.
